Santiago, July 2001.- Microsoft Chile, software, service and internet solutions provider and ADEXUS, the most important system and technology integrator in the country, signed an agreement to work and cooperate on e-business projects, ASP(Application Service Provider) and web services.
The main idea is to provide e-business solutions for small and medium Chilean companies who would like to optimize their business practices on the new economy, and to allow them an easy and comfortable access to the information technologies.
According to Rodrigo Alonso, Microsoft Chile General Manager, “we allied to work together on B2B business, to take advantage on the strengths and advantages of both companies so we will give the best results”.
Additionally, Carlos Busso, ADEXUS CEO, said “ADEXUS has the necessary infrastructure to give Housing, Hosting and ASP services, and B2B and B2C solutions in our Global Internet Service Center”. We would like to be able to assist and give high technology solutions to small and medium companies.”
This initiative has been develop to strength the companies business interaction with other companies and the government. And it comes along with the agreement signed by Microsoft and INTEC to create a Technology Transference Center which will give internet solutions to small and medium companies.
Microsoft Chile and ADEXUS agreement and the creation of Microsoft Technology Transference Center -INTEC-CHILE are presented as an important initiative to lead the internet services industry for small and medium companies.
